Your brief
We talk through your budget, how you'll use the home, and whether it needs to earn rental income. You finish with a clear picture of which areas, property types and price ranges suit you.

We go through the housing company papers, land lease terms, running costs and condition reports with you. If a building survey is worth commissioning, we'll say so.

In Finland the estate agent is normally engaged by the seller. A good agent will be fair and helpful, but they aren't there to advise you. For buyers abroad, the gaps show quickly:
Distance. You can't pop over for a second look before you decide.
Paperwork in Finnish. Housing company documents, land leases and condition reports.
Local knowledge. Which slopes, streets and building types suit rental, and which don't.
What comes after. Who looks after the home once you've bought it.

Frequently asked questions
Can foreigners buy property in Levi?
Yes. EU and EEA buyers can buy freely. Buyers from outside the EU and EEA, including the UK, generally need permission from the Finnish Ministry of Defence to buy real estate, but usually not to buy shares in a housing company. We'll tell you which applies to the homes you're considering.
What costs are there on top of the purchase price?
Transfer tax is 3% for real estate and 1.5% for housing company shares. On top of that come legal fees, any building survey, and the ongoing costs: housing company charges, utilities and insurance. We set these out for each property you consider.
What's a leased plot?
Some homes in Levi stand on leased land rather than land the owner holds outright. The lease terms affect running costs and resale, so we review them with you before you make an offer.
Do you negotiate the price for me?
No. We aren't an estate agency. We give you an independent view on value and a strategy for your offer, and then you or your lawyer submit it.
Can I buy in Levi without visiting?
Many of our buyers view by live video first and visit once they have a shortlist. We cover viewings, documents and handover in Levi, so you only travel when it matters.
